A-Z Countdown to Summer

As of today, we only have 26 days left of school. Kindergarten kicked off our A-Z countdown. Each day we will focus on a letter and have a special activity to go with it. 

Today was "A" day so we celebrate with special art centers. 

The choices were watercolor painting, color an Easter egg, design a pattern on an egg grid, work on a farm mural, or make an Easter bunny girl or boy. 

The kinders LOVED it!! They worked so well with each other. They rotated through the centers as they finished the task. 

It was a perfect time for a break in our normal centers too because our schedule has been different lately. Normally, we have last specials (art, music, PE, library) of the day, but because the big kids needed more time in the morning for their state testing we have had specials at 9:40. Lets just say...full moon

Tomorrow is B- bring a ball to a school day. I plan to do some math activities with the balls before they take themto recess.
